As cliché as it is, time really moves SO fast the older you get. I can’t believe we’re already nine weeks into 2017, it’s about to be March, and I’ll be starting my THIRD travel nurse contract in just two weeks!
So this past week, Aaron and I were supposed to be in Puerto Rico, but cancelled because of how sick he was feeling. I still enjoyed having time off with Aaron to just hang out at home all week, since most of the year he has maybe a weekend off here and there, and we still managed to get out and about during the week — like on a quick hike to Enchanted Rock!
I can’t get my brain to focus on anything for this post, which is maybe a good thing because today is the day my dreaded pathophysiology course starts. I am in graduate school to get my Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner. So far, it’s all been online, so it’s worked out great with my schedule. However, I’ve only taken “easy” core classes so far, so this patho class feels like my first REAL graduate course. Everyone I’ve talked to says how this was THE most difficult course of the program, so to say I’m a little intimidated/nervous is an understatement.
I have a feeling I’ll be pretty busy with patho for the next 11 weeks, but I’m still gonna do my best to enjoy my time here at home before moving to Baltimore, and have some fun exploring in and around Baltimore once I’m there!
