My only “big” New Year’s Resolution for last year was to post a pic every day on Instagram, and write a blog post once a week. I stopped blogging consistently back in March, but surprisingly, I was able to keep up with Instagram. I hoped feeling the need to post a picture every day would help motivate me to go out and experience and do more things, and it did! It helped that I took two bucket list trips this year, which provided me with a TON of new photos to post.

I have four (now five!) tattoos, and most of them have some sort of meaning behind them, even if it is subtle. My feet have scenes of my Texas homeland, and of the Puerto Rican beach from my first solo trip.
But this is my first spontaneous tattoo that’s just for shits-and-giggles (essentially).

The details: 20-bed mixed/medical ICU in a 266-bed hospital in Austin. Level IV trauma center (trying to get their Level II, so operating as a Level II). Floated to Cardiovascular Recovery Unit. Meditech used as EMR. On assignment November 2016 to February 2017.
So to further be tinkering with the content of what I post here on Mondays, I think I’m going to just take a single photo and expand on it, instead of just trying to sum up my week altogether…
Aaron and I don’t really go to the movies very often — I’m more of a binge-13-seasons-of-a-TV-show-as-quickly-as-possible kinda girl — but my friends have talked about Split, and I’ve seen people rave about it on social media, so we went to see it.
I honestly haven’t stopped thinking about it since we saw it!
Today is seriously the Mondayest of Mondays I’ve had in a while. Literally, when I remembered it was Monday and I needed to post something, I thought, “Fuuuuuuuuuck, it’s Monday.”
But it’s week 6 and I’m not about to miss a Monday now!
