My only “big” New Year’s Resolution for last year was to post a pic every day on Instagram, and write a blog post once a week. I stopped blogging consistently back in March, but surprisingly, I was able to keep up with Instagram. I hoped feeling the need to post a picture every day would help motivate me to go out and experience and do more things, and it did! It helped that I took two bucket list trips this year, which provided me with a TON of new photos to post.
Happy Monday! This post is a bit late coming up.
So to further be tinkering with the content of what I post here on Mondays, I think I’m going to just take a single photo and expand on it, instead of just trying to sum up my week altogether…
Aaron and I don’t really go to the movies very often — I’m more of a binge-13-seasons-of-a-TV-show-as-quickly-as-possible kinda girl — but my friends have talked about Split, and I’ve seen people rave about it on social media, so we went to see it.
I honestly haven’t stopped thinking about it since we saw it!
Originally I was going to wait until after my February vacation (and thus, the end of my current contract) to secure my third travel nurse assignment, in hopes of finding some good crisis rates.
But, I get antsy, and I’m a planner, so I’ve already signed contract #3 about a month and a half in advance! Continue reading Contract #3: Signed, Sealed, and Delivered!
This first week back home from vacation has not been the greatest, but that’s to be expected after spending a week in the most amazing country on Earth. Continue reading #Maddie2017Challenge: Week 4
I have been slacking keeping up with this blog! It’s going to be part of my New Years Resolution to keep up with it more. My resolution is to try and post at least one photo a day on Instagram, and then do a weekly summary here on the blog of all the photos I’ve done throughout the week! Continue reading Slacker
And besides seeing Aaron, I wanted to come back to Albuquerque immediately. I just wanted to kidnap Aaron and bring him back with me.
I don’t usually mind San Antonio, but after living elsewhere for some time, I went back and… I just… I HATE San Antonio. Like, I know everything, I know everyone. It’s boring. It’s familiar. It was dumb.
I love Albuquerque. I’ve been here 4 weeks and there’s still so much stuff for me to explore. I’m still familiarizing myself with different areas of the town, restaurants, bars, parks, outdoors stuff in the area. I’ve never really lived outside of San Antonio, and I like it. I’m looking forward to continuing my travel nurse journey and exploring different cities throughout the year and season. It’s so strange, travelling is such a go-with-the-flow type of job/career, and yet, I already have planned where I want to go for my next few assignments… For the next year, at least!
